Olson Electric is looking for an experienced ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR / PROJECT BILLER to join our team!

Primary Responsibilities

Meet with clients at project site and utilize project blueprints to determine and develop electrical requirements for residential and commercial electrical project bids
Ensure estimates align with industry best practices and company standards
Work cooperatively with the Shop Manager to schedule and keep projects on track for timely completion
Compose detailed billing for bid projects
Help with office coverage by answering calls and taking service requests over the phone
Complete service calls periodically on a “as needed" basis

How you qualify

Strong knowledge of electrical systems and construction processes
Demonstrated knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control measures
Ability to build productive business relationships with a wide range of people from general contractors, commercial property owners/managers to homeowners
Excellent negotiation skills
Must have valid drivers license and clean MVR, if hired
